RESTON, VA – ROGERCO, Inc. (RCI) welcomes our new Chief Executive Officer, Gery VanderVliet.
Gery brings with him 40 years of experience in executive management, operational, and technical experience in organizations varying in size from $7 million to $1.5 billion. He is an authority on optimizing and integrating corporate operations, developing growth/business development strategies, maximizing profitability and value, and supporting M&A activities.
Gery previously served as the President/GM at Vectrus for the Zenetex subsidiary that Vectrus acquired in 2020, managing over 2500 employees. Before that, he was the Chief Growth Officer, General Manager, as well as a member of the Board of Directors, for Zenetex, LLC. Prior, he was Vice President for Operations and Business Development for the $300M Navy and Joint Forces Sector at General Dynamics Information Technology, and previously Vice President of Information Technology and Engineering at both Anteon and Information Spectrum, Inc. (ISI).
Gery began his career working for the Navy, leading complex acquisition, R&D and test efforts for multiple Naval aviation programs, moving on to become the deputy Chief Engineer (RDT&E) for the V-22 Osprey aircraft. He was previously an esteemed adjunct professor of Systems Engineering at Johns Hopkins University. Gery is a graduate of Virginia Tech with a BS in Aerospace and Ocean Engineering, a minor in Astrophysics, holds an MS from the University of Tennessee in Engineering Systems and Business Management, and is a graduate of the US Naval Test Pilot School.
