In April, RCI Executive Vice President Tabatha Ward was honored to speak at the 2025 HDA Pharmaceutical Cargo Security Coalition (PCSC) Educational Seminar, hosted by the Healthcare Distribution Alliance. Her session, “Safeguarding Supply Chains From Business Email Compromise, Phishing, Smishing, and Quishing,” explored the growing impact of social engineering attacks on the pharmaceutical transportation sector. Through real-world examples and tactical insight, Tabatha outlined how these threats exploit communication channels to disrupt operations, compromise sensitive data, and create downstream risks across the supply chain.

Her perspective reflects the broader work RCI leads in support of the Surface Transportation ISAC (ST-ISAC), helping transportation and logistics stakeholders strengthen their cybersecurity posture through timely threat intelligence and coordinated response efforts.

More information about the PCSC and its mission to enhance pharmaceutical cargo security is available at hda.org/pcsc.
