Case Study: Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division
Challenge
The Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) relies on the Corporate Operations Department, Corporate Communications Division, Code 103 to provide strategic planning and delivery of internal and external communications. This office is responsible for promoting the successes and activities of NSWCDD Dahlgren and NSWCDD Dam Neck Activity, as well as local community players and Navy leaders. Code 103’s needs shift frequently and ROGERCO was tasked with supporting their mission in creative and resourceful ways that reflect these dynamics.
Solution
Our team is dynamic and flexible, easily shifting to reflect the ebbs and flows of our customer’s needs. Our Program Manager and on-site personnel communicate with Code 103 to understand the nuances of their needs and the nature of the work being produced.
For instance, ROGERCO team members offer support for library management and archiving. At the beginning of the contract, our team of Document Imaging Specialists and Research Support Specialists worked to digitize thousands of hard copy documents. Since these files have been moved online, our team has shifted to reflect the need for digital maintenance. ROGERCO supports document development, cataloging, processing, circulation, deletion and disposal. Our team also conducts Section 508 evaluation, remediation and certification.
In addition, ROGERCO has brought on new team members to match surge demands from Code 103. As our customer has indicated increased demand for thought leadership and event support, we have grown our team of Writers and Events and Protocol Specialists to match their needs.
Results
Through creative thinking and constant communication, we have built an agile team of experts who reflect the specialized talent needed to reach Code 103’s goals, all while maintaining budget and experience expectations. We offer our customer solutions that allow them to achieve their mission while accounting for surge demands and shifts in work.
